[Regarding “Water Under the Bridge: City Tries to Learn From Holiday Water Outages,” July 19, Xpress:]
It’s unbelievable that the remedies recommended and accepted by the city are not given the highest priority! What’s it gonna take? This is what taxes are for, people!

Read the headline “…City Tries to Learn from Holiday Water Outages.” Keyword is “tries.” Obviously the city is giving themselves their chosen option of failure yet again. They will stall until the middle of winter, as they planned for last year, and create the usual “crisis.” That will suffice as the smoke and mirrors for questioning where the taxpayer’s money went. It’s working year after year…but the diseased water system is terminal this time. Asheville needs help. Stock up.
