It’s farm tour time and agricultural organizations across the state are coming together to highlight our regions most intriguing farms. The tours let the public get up close and personal with livestock, produce, flowers, berries and more.
29 growers in Ashe, Avery, Caldwell and Watauga counties opened their gates to the public for the High Country Farm Tour on Saturday, Aug. 3 and Sunday, Aug 4. The tour included 25 farms, two breweries and one winery.
