Kubo's Japanese Restaurant has a new owner, Tony Lin, who used to work at Ichiban. Lin will change the name of the sushi and hibachi spot to Hana, which means flower in Japanese, he says.
Lin doesn't plan to make large changes to the menu, although he wants to create specials with his own personal touches, which he's developed over 12 years as a sushi chef in New York and Asheville.
