On tour for his latest album, Pitiful Blues, Malcolm Holcombe played a show at The Grey Eagle last month. He was joined by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jared Tyler, from Tulsa, Oklahoma. In advance of the show, the musicians talked about songwriting and touring, and Holcombe shared a few of his pearls of wisdom: “Hang around the barbershop long enough, you’re bound to get a haircut.”
