While police are still mum on details about the first-degree murder charge against Stevie Davis citing an ongoing investigation, there is a growing belief among many in the neighborhood that Davis prevented more mayhem with his actions after Steven Wike killed two — including Davis’ brother, Phillip Davis — inside the West Asheville bar.
Davis and Richard Anderson then apparently chased Wike down the street, killing him near a city bus a block away.
Another man, Harold McCone was also killed at the scene and another, Kevin Warren was taken to Mission Hospital. The bar owner surrendered her state liquor license the next day.

Stevie Davis probably saved lives that night. Wike was obviously on a rampage. What can we do to help Stevie Davis??
