  8. Cary Grant and Hawks I get. Hepburn, I don’t. Until the 1950s she seems more phony and mannered to me with each passing year. I always wish somehow Cary Grant could be dropped into the 1930 version of Holiday. I do think Hepburn’s good in The Philadelphia Story — she suits it.
