I’ve been to a lot of Gay Prides in my time….but ya know what? For me, this one was the best. It wasn’t the biggest or the most outrageous or even the most…gay. But it was full of love and full of joy and beauty and full of well…Pride. I was proud to be there. I was proud of my friends. And I was really, really proud of Asheville.
Not on the sidelines anymore…Blue Ridge Pride takes its rightful place in downtown Asheville:

You’ve found your calling, Michael. These photos are filled with such spirited joy and goodwill, and many rise to the level of fine portraiture.
This was my first gay pride festival so I have nothing to compare it to but if future festivals are half the experience of Blue Ridge Pride 2010, I can’t wait for the next one! The location was super and the entertainment, vendors, people & weather were all wonderful! The pictures tell the whole story!
Said it before and I’ll say it again…no one takes better “portrait” pics than Muller! Looks like it was a fabulous day!

For a straight guy, you sure do use the word “fabulous” a lot.

This is a thing of beauty, Michael.
My daughter has a bumper sticker: “It’s only love.”
I am at a loss as to why the world cannot accept this.
To see this joy, this crystalline moment of celebration, is a true gift.
Thank you.
It’s almost all composition, I know. Can you tell us about your camera?
