A good hat does indeed make on stand out from the crowd. In my 20 years of designing them, one of my most interesting observations is; Men LOVE seeing women in hats, veil or no veil.
The body painting was a bit silly. Who’s idea was that. Compared to the rest of the show it looks so out of place. Cheapens it.
Haute or any couture striving to be “avant garde” seems to need to shock….. recent “bearded ladies” at a runway event, expresses the “shock” effect very well.
