Sabel and her rottie deserved thanks, not grief

I was saddened by the ridiculous response Kim Sabel received concerning her rottie in a business she was [visiting] [“Rottie Therapy,” Letters, Aug. 27].

Anyone who knows anything about dogs realizes the temperament of a dog is determined by the owner. I have been around rotties in my life and have found them friendly and loving dogs. Cesar Millan, the “Dog Whisperer,” has rottweilers and is a renowned dog expert. One must know the breed before speaking out negatively.

Kim Sabel should be thanked for her work with animals and dog therapy. One thing I have learned over many years is that you can’t argue with rudeness and ignorance.
