I guess its my age and poverty level, but on the national level for me it’s Universal Health Care. On the more local level it’s balanced and controlled growth/development.
I’m voting to keep nukes out of the hands of McCain/Palin…among other things, but mainly the nukes thing.
Locally, its Parkside debacle, and how the candidate stands on energy (and conservation) issues. Growth is also big for me.
Nationally it would also be energy stance and how to keep the country from getting further down the tubes, How a candidate can repair the economy and repair our wounded image abroad.
I will vote for a candidate that can repair our weakened foreign image, reform tax cuts for the rich, address the immigration issue, and go for a universal health care system without unfair mandates. You can probably guess who I’ll vote for…
Locally, I’m looking for a candidate that will address our public transportation system, address poverty in WNC, and immigration issues.
