Easley’s fist bump with Obama final straw for shoulder

The Raleigh News & Observer is reporting that Gov. Mike Easley’s June appearance with presidential hopeful Barack Obama, in which the two engaged in the candidate’s trademark fist-bump, led him to finally get shoulder surgery. See the story here.

The news, posted in the N&O‘s blog Under the Dome, leaves plenty of room for jokes. But before you start posting them below, the political blog Wonkette already picked it up and has this to say.
