Oct. 17: Asheville City Council Candidates Forum, 7 to 9 p.m. at UNCA’s Reuter Center (Chestnut Ridge Room), sponsored by the League of Women Voters, Kids Voting and NCCCR.
Oct. 25: Black Mountain Aldermen and Mayor Candidates Forum, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Black Mountain Center for the Arts, sponsored by Black Mountain News and League of Women Voters.
Nov. 6: General lection for municipalities throughout Buncombe County, and partisan/nonpartisan election referendum for the city of Asheville.
