Most of us want to do the right thing. We want to give back, step up and change the world for the better. But face it: There are only so many hours in the day and a paycheck only stretches so far. Here’s the good news: Wink Heads and Threads (18 Brook St., Suite 103, Asheville, 277-4070) is making it easy to make a difference. The boutique and salon is hosting a denim swap to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters in celebration of the volunteer organization’s 25th anniversary. Now through Saturday, Sept. 29, shoppers can exchange a pair of gently worn jeans (call Wink for guidelines) for a 20 percent discount on a new pair. The used denim is donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters’ little sisters and their moms. Do good and get a little something for yourself. Easy.
