The Ingenerals Fashion Show, held Aug. 25 at the Wedge Gallery, featured the reconstructed wearable-art pieces of local designers Elliot Elephant (elliotelephant@yahoo.com) and Sew Moe (www.sewmoe.com). Inspired by Victorian and other vintage-era costumes, the creations were fully realized amalgamations of antique ruffles, bustles and spats, with post-modern accessibility and punk edge. Xpress caught some of the show’s highlights.
