After living in Asheville for the last three years, I am still so impressed by the people of Asheville who have such a sense of community and who are so incredibly kind, loving and caring. I want to thank those people who stopped to help me Saturday, Jan. 27, when I lost my footing and fell on the sidewalk with a glass bottle in my hand, in front of the City Bakery and Folk Art Shop.
The cuts from the glass looked a lot bloodier than they really were. People helped me to my feet, washed my wounds and gave me Band-Aids and antibiotics. I am a little sore and very grateful for the caring shown to me. My experience in other cities cannot begin to compare with my experiences here with the people of Asheville. I am so happy to be living here. Thank you all for caring.
