The Organic Growers School’s Harvest Conference, held Friday and Saturday, Sept. 8 and 9, supports growers in processing the bounty of the autumn harvest and extending the growing season through the winter and early spring.
As students go back to school, construction projects will continue on some campuses of both the city and county school systems. At historic Asheville High School, a $25 million renovation project is expected to continue through May 2020.
Ian Fitzgerald is widely hailed all over New England as the best singer-songwriter in the region, and recently made a tour stop in Asheville to help promote his latest record, ‘You Won’t Even Know Me When I’m Gone.’
