Frankly to me, this week’s most notable cinematic event is ActionFest, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t other movies coming our way this week—four-and-a-half of them, in fact. Last week we got lucky—well, Hop to one side—but I’d be lying if I said I was expecting that kind of luck this week.

UPDATE Some area residents without power after evening storm

Less than 1,000 Progress Energy customers remain without power this morning, April 5, in the Asheville area. Further east, Duke Energy reported that more than 250,000 customers were without power as of 6:20 a.m. Severe thunderstorms swept through the area Monday night, and crews are assessing the damage.
